This is the oldest Auchentoshan there is. It matured for over 50 years in very delicate sherry casks. You rarely see any bottlings that are 50 years old, because there is a chance that the ABV drops below 40% and that means you then cannot call it a whisky anymore. The edition has been limited to 144 bottles and every bottle has been numbered.
