Athru 14 Years Knocknarea
The Irish Athru Single Malts are made by the Lough Gill distillery in the northwest of the country. The Malts created by master blender Billy Walker are inspired by the regional landscape and mythology. Knocknarea is named after the mountain in the west of the city Sligo, the resting place of the legendary warrior queen Maeve. The Malt matured in Bourbon casks for eleven years and then finished for three years in Oloroso Sherry casks.
