Arran 13 Years - 2001 Single Cask Nation - Jewish Whisky Company
Nose: Multi-dimensional with wonderfully integrated notes of baked apple, rich vanilla, coconut oil, warm butter, and typical Arran cereal sweetness
Palate: Delightfully oily entry with cocoa powder up front then a wave of pears, salted caramel apple, ripe apricot and dates all leading to a pleasantly peppery end that transitions beautifully into the finish
Finish: Lingering fruit sweetness and cocoa powder from the palate leads elegantly into a long, drying peppery finish that still presents some of the cereal sweetness from the nose
