Nosing:
Sherry, spicy, almonds, nuts, pineapple, peach, nectarine
Taste:
Spicy, caramelized ginger, honey, fruit
Finish:
Medium
Comment:
The Arran 18 years is the last edition of the trilogy and the oldest original bottling of the distillery. It was limited to 9000 bottles worldwide.
Nosing:
Sherryröstaromen and light spices. Baked peaches, honey and toasted almonds.
Taste:
Flattering with ginger creme brulee and caramelised brown sugar.
Finish:
Nutty aromas of hazelnut and nougat with brioche and candy apples.

Nosing: sherry, almonds, flowers, tropical fruits, honey, heather, sweetness, dark chocolate and cherries

Taste: fruit, dark fruits and berries, dark chocolate, cherries - black forest gateaux - caramel, sweetness, floral notes

Finish: nuts, honey, malt, red apples, almond, hazelnuts

Comment: Very nice, I wish we had picked a bottle of this up with the other 3 we brought!

Light fruits and sherry. Fresh, but with a lot of depth. This is a much richer Arran. A must-try for fans of the younger expressions.
