Ardmore 7 Years - 2013 Very Cloudy
Ardmore Very Cloudy was bottled by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Non chill-filtered Whiskies are commonly bottled with 46% alcohol strength. With a higher percentage, the oils and fat particles in the Whisky remain loose. Beneath 46%, a very dull Malt is created. Signatory Vintage deliberately plays with this effect in the 'Very Cloudy' series. With the dilution to 40%, this Ardmore shows different aromas during the tasting.
