Aroma: Rich ripe dark red fruits like plums, black cherry & sherry. Definitely has sweet notes of brown sugar, praline, candied orange rinds mixed with a menthol note enveloping everything.

Taste: Sweet & savory w/dry dark red fruits, sherry, maple, spring honey, floral, touch of burnt brown sugar, rich & full bodied. It is juicy & mouthwatering almost a syrupy texture. The development brings about a dark chocolate covered orange with oak and spices like candied ginger & cinnamon. Spirity, even with a significant amount of water.

Finish: Long, has a nice oak and spice finish a lingering bitter dark chocolate. An appropriate full finish balances it all out nicely.

Comment: 89/100 - This dram takes time to open up to its full potential even after adding water. Take your time with this dram & play around with the water amounts. Have bought multiple batches and will continue to buy as part of my collection.
