Glenlivet Illicit is an hommage to the original style of production by George Smith. The founder of Glenlivet began in 1824 with the production of his soon world-famous Single Malt in the remote valley of Livet. Back then he didn't have a licence, which is why the bottling is called 'Illicit Still'. Today, Glenlivet is one of the biggest and most important Whisky producers.
