Ardbeg Ardbog
Even on this year's Ardbeg Day the distillery presents a new limited edition. It's called Ardbog and pays homage to the famous peat moors of the Island of Islay - "bog" in English. Ardbog is the result of experiments with different casks types, which Ardbeg is doing for years. In this case, the 10 year old Ardbeg Whisky from traditional American Bourbon casks was mixed with Whisky from rare Manzanilla Sherry casks of the same age. The Manzanilla casks give the Mix a salty aroma and remind about the old, prehistorical peat moors.
