Laphroaig Lore
Lore stands for the transmission of knowledge and traditions. As early as 1800, the Johnston brothers laid the foundation for Lore's recipe. Since then, the whisky has been further developed by several distillery managers and distillers of Laphroaig. The new Laphroaig Lore combines this knowledge and the history of Laphroaig.

Finish:

Comment:
Strong intensive peat smoke, even stronger than in 10YO or QC, on the palete chocolate is the most prominent note. Peat is medicinal but also a bit earthy. Finish is long and complex.
Very good and well balanced dram. Even if it's NAS I don't get an impression of young whisky.
Quarter Cask < 10 YO < Lore < Brodir

Finish: Moderate
Comment: Instantly velvety smooth! Fire, earth & sea aged in oak make for a very diverse and complex dram. Well balance levels of various oaks provide a complex range of spices that cut seamlessly through the smoky charred notes and the sweet deep flavours of the sherry and bourbon casks. I highly recommend this dram!!
