This is my first time with a dram from the Loch Lomond distillery. It's a Non Age Statement Whisky, so I don't expect much, although I've already heard a lot about this distillery.
Color: a little darker gold
Nose: really interesting. Grainy, salty, butterscotch and a tiny grassy-note. Pleasant
Palate: caramel, dried tea, brown sugar and generally... herbal (I'm not able to exactly describe which herbs)
Finish: bitter or dark chocolate, cream and a lovely, oaky note.
A very young spirit (in my opinion) takes a lot of pleasure from having a dram.
Definitely not my favorite, but not too bad as well.
Maltmark: 72/100
