3 Years Beaufort Single Malt Whisky
Beaufort Single Malt Whisky
This whisky has been aged for three years in French oak casks. After that, it underwent a couple of months of finishing in casks that were previously used for Pineau des Charentes, which is a type of Vin de Liqueur - a fortified wine made by blending fermented or unfermented grape must with aged grape spirits, such as cognac.
Production
This whisky has been distilled twice in a Charentais pot still, which is a copper pot still typically used in the production of cognac. Only unpeated, locally produced malt has been used.

France is one of the countries in the world where whisky consumption is among the highest, even though the domestic production is very small.
