The Ardbeg Corryvreckan is named after Europe's biggest vortex. It lies very close to the Hebrides and the Isle of Jura on the west coast of Scotland. It comes non chill filtered and with a high ABV. The Corryvreckan impersonates the untamed character...
This was the first bottling of the newly opened Ardbeg distillery under the new banner. It was bottled from 90% ex-bourbon casks and 10% ex-sherry casks. The Ardbeg Uigeadail is fruitier and smoother than the normal Ardbeg TEN.
The 18-year-old Glendronach bears the name of the founder of the distillery, James Allardice. It has been exclusively matured in Ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
This exceptional single malt is among the cheapest of all 21-year-old malt whiskeys. It contains more smoke than other Glenfarclas. But in comparison only a subtle touch. The sherry taste takes a back seat in favor of oak, vanilla and fruits.
One of the oldest bottlings in Glenfarclas's standard range. A very complex 25-year-old malt that shows a lot of dryness and oak notes but is not dominated by sheer sherry influence.
With their 12-year-old standard bottling, Glenfiddich helped to establish the single malt whisky category worldwide. Today it is still the best-selling single malt whisky in the world.
The classic Lagavulin is kilned with a high smoke content in the malt. The stills are pear-shaped, so that all flavors can be passed on to the condensers during distillation. The single malt then matures in bourbon and sherry casks to completion.
The extra-maturation of ex-bourbon-matured whisky in small quarter casks and the 48% ABV make this Laphroaig the perfect match of peat and oak and a popular alternative to the 10-year-old standard bottling.
Original bottling - The 1824 series
From Macallan's new 1824 series, where the whiskies derive their names from the colour. The Sienna was matured in first-fill American and Spanish Oak Casks.
One of THE iconic sherry malts. For years this has been the standard bottling of Macallan throughout the world. Now it has been discontinued in Europe, and prices are skyrocketing.
