The founder of the distillery was a pioneer in wine barrel aging. Even today Glendronach stores his malts in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The bottlings of the Cask Strength series are filled in different batches.
The Glendronach Peated matured in ex-bourbon barrels with a finish in Oloroso sherry casks. The Peated comes without no age statement. The distillate is not-chill filtered and bottled with 46.0% ABV.
