Blood and Sand is a silent film from 1922, which tells the tragic story about a Spanish torero, who indulges himself in alcohol and women and loses control about his life and is impaled in the end. The eponymous Cocktail contains Whisky, cherry Liqueur, Martini Rosso and orange juice, which symbolizes the spilt blood on the sand in the bullfight arena.
