A Benriach finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry butts.
Nose:
Sweet sherry, peat smoke, ripe fruits and a hint of vanilla
Taste: sherry sweetness with peat smoke, dark berries and a hint of oak.
Finish:Long, full and smoky

The Benriach was aged in classical american bourbon casks. Then it was finished in the untypical Gaja Barola wine casks from the Piedmont region in Italy. A heavy fruit tone.

In the meantime, the Highland distillery Benriach bottles some smoky malts. Peated Quarter Casks matured in special barrels, which the smoky flavors still intensified.
