"The entire St. Kilian team is particularly pleased to receive the "Distillery of the Year "award because this is the well-deserved reward for the joint efforts of the first few years," St. Kilian proudly announces in the current press release. The London Spirits Competition LSC awarded this title only a few days ago. The other honors St. Kilian received in London: Best in Show by Country; Spirit of the Year; of the Year (Signature Edition Four); Gold / 97 points (Signature Edition Four); Best Spirit by Value; Best Spirit by Package.
The distillery submitted two of their whiskies to the San Francisco Spirits Competition SFSC and both were awarded medals: Double Gold for the St. Kilian Signature Edition Three and Gold for the Signature Edition One.
St. Kilian also presented products to the jury at the 17th Meininger's International Spirits Award ISW in Neustadt and was awarded a gold medal for both the Signature Edition Three and the Signature Edition Four. The awards are very gratifying feedback for the young German distillery, which launched its first whisky in April 2019.
The team, headed by distillery founder Andreas Thümmler and Mario Rudolf, started with the vision to set new quality standards. And they are on a very good way to fulfill it.
