Refreshing version of the Tullamore D.E.W Irish Coffee to mix at home

Created by Natalie van Wyk von Schumann’s Bar

Who does not know the hot coffee specialty Irish Coffee. Now the Irish whiskey label Tullamore D.E.W. in cooperation with the Munich bartender Natalie van Wyk from the well-known Schumann’s Bar, developed an ice-cold variation of the drink.

As a template for the whiskey cocktail, van Wyk was inspired by a development by the bartender Juri Reib from the bar The Bohemian in Hamburg. Together with the coffee roaster Black Delight, he had created a recipe especially for bartenders in which the ingredients are mixed using nitrogen.

For this Coffee D.E.W. Natalie van Wyk no nitrogen or other professional accessories are needed, the recipe is suitable for every home bar and hobby mixer. The ingredients used, lavender syrup, cold brew and coconut vanilla milk, can be prepared at home, the Tullamore D.E.W. is available at your whiskey retailer.
