New Tomatin 30 Year Old joins core range of the Highland distillery

Individually numbered bottles, premium packaging

If you fell in love with the Tomatin 1988 Vintage you should assure yourself another bottle before it will disappear in the shops because Tomatin announced to remove it from its core range. But there’s already another product that will take the place of the 1988 Vintage: A new Tomatin 30 Year Old was released.

The first batch of Tomatin 30 Year Old is limited to 3000 bottles. 450 of them will be on retail in UK, 600 have already been launched in the US. The rest will be sold on international markets. Which country will be supplied and when it will happen hasn’t been published yet.

“We are delighted to be able to release this premium whisky to our customers just in time for Christmas. This is sure to be a must-have gift for any whisky lover or keen collector,” said Jennifer Masson, Marketing Manager of Tomatin.

A press release presents official tasting notes: “Tomatin’s 30 Year Old, delivers fresh aromas of soft fruits, golden honey and smooth white chocolate. On the palate, a fusion of tropical fruits and creamy buttered vanilla mingle in an explosion of sensational mixed spices. Customers can expect an elegantly rich and creamy finish.“

This Tomatin 30 Year Old is bottled with 46% ABV, individually numbered and packed in a high quality wood-box. This will help to differentiate this new 30 Year old from a former edition that once also belonged to the core range and was presented in a classic cardboard box.
