Michter’s present this year's 10-year-old Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye

It is the only release of a 10-year-old Mitcher’s Rye that is planned for 2020

Not only internationally renowned bourbons come from Louisville, Kentucky, but also rye whiskeys. In addition to their standard editions such as Michter’s Bourbon, Michter’s Single Barrel Rye and some other products, Michter’s also publishes a few 10-year-old editions of their Single Barrel Whiskeys every year. A new edition of Michter’s Single Barrel Rye Whiskey 10 years has just been launched.

“This will be the only release of our 10 Year Rye this year because we continue to be in a position where we need to allocate our whiskeys," commented Michter's President Joseph J. Magliocco in a press release. "I am very grateful to our team for the terrific job they have been doing."

And Michter's master distiller Dan McKee said "I just love Kentucky style rye because it has not only great spice, but also the richness and the balance that comes from having a fair amount of corn and malted barley in the mashbill. And I think the 2020 release of our 10 Year Rye is an outstanding example of Kentucky style rye."

The suggested retail price for the 0.75 liter bottle of Michter's 10 Years Rye is $160 in the US. Given the quality of the Michter’s, this 10-year-old Michter’s Single Barrel Rye Whiskey from 2020 will probably quickly be sold out.

If you are now interested in Michter’s Whiskeys, but do not want to start with a high-end product from the distillery, we recommend that you start with the distillery’s excellent standards.
