Johnnie Walker Princes Street to open September 6, 2021

Tours for the new visitor center in Edinburgh are available; online booking started today

We were able to give you first impressions of the new Johnnie Walker visitor experience in Edinburgh in January here in the news. From September 6, 2021, after extensive renovation work, the house will finally open its doors and invite you to tour and visit the exhibition and event rooms, the shop and the bars.

Since they are expecting a large number of visitors and the tickets will be limited due to the corona safety and hygiene measures that are still required, early booking of the tours is urgently recommended. Registrations are now possible here via the Johnnie Walker website.

The Journey of Flavour, a 90 minutes tour, includes three drinks and is available for £ 25. For 35 pounds you can take part in a sensory tasting in the Explorer’s Bothy. Single malts from Speyside, Highlands and Islay will be tasted, as well as a Lowland grain whisky, only available here at the Johnnie Walker Princess Street Experience, and the Johnnie Walker Black Label. If you want to take part in a special tasting in the Whisky Maker's Cellar and, among other things, see the development of barrels over time, you have to invest 95 pounds.

In addition to the exhibition and tasting rooms, there is also an extensive shop and two bars in the building that can be visited without a ticket. A comprehensive hygiene concept will limit and direct the flow of visitors during the Covid-19 period.
