Isle of Arran Distillery presents new design and new whisky expressions

Quiet and close to nature - a new direction in design

A new design, a new logo and new whisky releases: The Arran Distillery has announced fresh air for its core range. However, this does not refer to familiar contents of the bottles, that Arran fans already know and love. But in the course of this re-branding, new single malts will be added as permanent members to the core range bottlings that are already on the market, such as the Arran 10 years.

Close to nature and quiet

The difference between the old and new design of bottles and packaging is obvious. While some other whisky brands announce a new design, making only minor changes, Arran makes a clear cut: the color palette leaves the bright, vivid colors and images and moves into a range of natural tones and muted colors. Colors, logo and symbolism reflect the Island of Arran with its waters and mountains. "A Breath of Fresh Arran" is the motto of the campaign.

The eagles, the distillery's landmark and decorative symbol on the previous Arran bottlings, also appear on the newly designed labels as a central logo: a pair of eagles circling over the island of Arran, stylized with a few lines. Incidentally, a lettering in braille is also on the embossed label.

From 16 September, the Arran Single Malt Whiskies of the (new) core range will be available in the now presented design, first to purchase at the distillery shop itself, followed by the launch in general trade. Initially, four bottlings will be released in this new look, and two more (the 18-year-old and the 21-year-old Arran Single Malt) will follow in October.
