Highland Park Cask Strength: The first release of the new powerful whisky was presented

Characterized as robust and intense

It is a new addition to the whisky parquet, which friends of the Highland Park Distillery will be delighted with: The distillery presents its new single malt as a cask strength edition, which will further on be released in batches. The new Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 1, which enters the market without an age statement, is marked on the packaging as being “Robust & Intense”.

The Highland Park Cask Strength was matured predominantly in sherry seasoned American oak casks. They were hand-selected for bottling by Highland Park Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion. This single malt was neither chill filtered nor coloured.

The bottle is covered with ornaments based on wood carvings about Viking legends. The bottle label of this release doesn’t show a silver stripe, as is usual for Highland Park’s whiskies, but with one in rust-brown metallic, which is supposed to remind of the iron tires of the casks.
