Highland Cattle 11 Years launched by Whisky.de

A Scottish Blended Malt Whisky with deep sherry aromas

With the Highland Cattle 11 Years, Whisky.de presents its first own Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, created according to its own ideas. Batched mainly from whisky that was matured in former sherry casks and a smaller proportion of whisky from first fill ex-bourbon barrels, a blended malt was created that aims to inspire with complex, dark-fruity aromas.

Exclusive editions bottled for Whisky.de already well-known

Customers of Whisky.de have been familiar to single malts that were bottled exclusively for the German retailer. The wide range includes whiskies from all Scottish regions, including two new single cask bottlings from Glenallachie, one Rioja barrel and one Grand Cru barrel. The newly released Benriach PX Puncheon 13 years old is recommended for those who love strong sherry flavors.

Highland Cattle: unchill filtered and uncoloured

This new eleven-year-old Highland Cattle pays homage to the sherry, but the blending of the large proportion of whisky stored in sherry casks with ex-bourbon casks gives the malt an additional rounding spiciness. The Highland Cattle is bottled at 46% ABV, without chill filtration as well as without any additional colouring. The limited batch is provided with the year of production.
