Benromach Triple Distilled now available

The first single malt whisky of the Speyside distillery that was produced in triple distillation

With its Benromach Triple Distilled the Speyside distillery has released a new limited edition. As the name bespeaks this single malt was produced in a special way: it was triple distilled and is the first whisky of this kind that Benromach has been bottling.

In the still house of Benromach there is still only one pair of pot stills standing and working. The Benromach Triple Distilled has been produced by a first distillation in the wash still and two following distillations in the spirit still. After being matured in first fill Bourbon casks the single malt presents sweet vanilla aromas and notes of chocolate and lemon and hints of smoke.

The Benromach Triple Distilled 2009/2017 is a vintage bottling, distilled in 2009 and bottled this year with an alcohol content of 50% ABV. We already pre-announced the release of this single malt in September, but now it is available in Germany and other European countries. It is added to the already wide portfolio of the distillery as for example the Benromach 10 Years Old and the Benromach 15 Years Old.
