Ardnahoe Distillery on Islay officially open to visitors since today

We have photos of the new distillery for you

Finally: The Ardnahoe Distillery today proudly announced in social media that it is now open to visitors and offers tours. The Islay distillery, owned by the independent bottler Hunter Laing, informs here on the Ardnahoe website about the three different tours that are offered: One is "The Spirit of Ardnahoe", a 45-minute tour, the two others are different extensive tastings presentig whisky from Hunter Laing's portfolio.

At the end of 2016, the groundbreaking ceremony took place on the distillery site at the north coast of Islay between the distilleries Caol Ila and Bunnahabhain. The first distillation runs took place in October 2018 and the first barrel was filled on November 9, 2018. With Jim McEwan, an experienced and prominent personality of the whiskey business had been brought on board as production manager. So now the distillery is open to the public.

If you cannot make it to Islay during the next time, we can give you a first insight into the Ardnahoe distillery: The following pictures have been kindly provided for publication by Hunter Laing.
