Comment: A fantastic whisky worth trying!

Taste: nice rich salty spice with good clean smoky flavour in the backend bitter chocolate. Dry on the end
Finish: long lasting . Good power and nice spicy finish.
Comment:
Nice alc is abit sharp I would like to taste older Taliskers

Light Smoke. Slightly sweet smell develops. Does not burn the nose hairs like the (Islay whisky does) Biscuit smell slowly develops - on the second nosing.
Taste:
This whisky invites you in with the slightly sweet chilli taste then burns your tongue like there's no tomorrow! Burning! Mouthwatering if kept in the mouth without swishing.
Finish:
Warm pleasant finish after the burn subsides. Warming to the stomach.
Comment:
This is how a whiskey should be. An excellent combination of heat and sweet. It's not obviously sweet but there's enough of a hint there to balance the chilli heat smoke. Has a much more rounded, balanced taste than say the Laphroaig 10 & Ardbeg 10. One of my faves!

Comment:
It reminds me of shells and mollusci on the nose, (much in contrast with lagavulin's smoked salmon). The bitterness is found really at the end for me, I also seem to not be able to find the pepper on the taste, but I believe that's because the bottle has been open for a while, I might've lost that with time. Sweet has been well conserved, I assume it's chili sweet since I can't really find vanilla or similar. I can find leather and coffee easily in most whiskies, at least in the aftertaste, this is no exception (It might be just mee).
