Deanston Virgin Oak
The Deanston Virgin Oak is an untypical Scotch Malt. It was matured in fresh American Oak casks. This means the Whisky matured a lot faster than in the used cask the Scottish use normally.
The casks have been charred to give it a smoother taste. But this Malt is still rather rough around the edges and a true Highland Malt.

Comment: Initially a very woody taste. But then, canned peach takes over. It's delicious!
