The company
The Caskhound is a German independent bottler founded in 2020 by Tilo Schnabel. The whisky enthusiast and connoisseur has dedicated himself with great passion to the search for exceptional whiskies. With a trained "nose", he finds high-quality casks in well-known, popular - but also long-closed - Scottish distilleries to release them as exclusive single cask bottlings.
The name The Caskhound is emblematic of this claim: like a sniffer dog, Tilo Schnabel is constantly on the lookout for the best casks and special flavours.
The limited edition single cask whiskies are bottled at cask strength, without chill-filtering and without colouring, in order to preserve the original character of each cask.
With its carefully selected series, The Caskhound has quickly made a name for itself among independent bottlers. Each bottle tells the story of a special cask!

The bottler's main series, in which Tilo Schnabel presents his personally selected favourites. Each bottling is characterised by exceptional cask maturation, balance and complexity. - Crazy Coo Series
This series stands out with its humorous and colourful labels. The playful design conceals high-quality whiskies with exciting cask profiles. - Stillman's Gold Series
A premium line with particularly rare and high-quality casks - often from closed or traditional distilleries. These bottlings are strictly limited and are aimed at collectors and discerning connoisseurs.
