Feel free to suggest Whiskies for my upcoming videos in the blog.
There are more than 100 videos already online. 500 videos will be online by the end of 2015.

Not sure if there are already some of these..

    For getting clicks and users:
-At first all Islay southcoast core range whiskies + Ocotomore/Supernova
    -Macallan & Glendronach

Then some other "hype-whiskies" like Caol Ila, Bowmore, Highland Park, Talisker, Bunnahabhain, Laddies

After that some of the well known ones like Glenmorangie, Glenfarclas, Glenfiddich, Edradour.

To keep it cheap, maybe all of the minitaures first.

I will post a list of some bottlings that I am personally interested in later.

regards.. ..and sorry for bad english

Ohh getting klicks realy fast is definitely worth a discussion.

So if you do the important whiskies first, than you get more popularity in the beginning. But lets face reality. Horst has a learning curve. It started with the Lagavulin 16 that can be more or less categorized as unwillingly funny.

Now he got better and is far more authentic in front of the camera. So what he needed to do was second takes of the important bottles he "messed up" in the beginning.

So we thought doing a few unimportant whiskies up front was a good idea.

The question now is: How good is he right now?

I'm looking forward to seeing your personal choices.

@Ben: Then I would take a look into the shopsystem of whisky.de and would make new videos of the ones that have the old background. They are from that time where youtube only allowed 10min videos and because of that, Horst was stressed sometimes. And i think there are still a lot of that kind and a lot of them are (more or less) "unimportant". Then you don't have to open another bottle for the new german videos.

@ASWhisky: When you look the videos directly on youtube, you can skip to nosing. But maybe this could be inplemented into the blog here.

I think the videos are quite good, but in terms of vocabulary and pronunciation sometimes as unwillingly funny as the German videos used to be. I'm sure this will fix itself in time and the accent might even be helpful since non-native speakers sometimes have more problems understanding native speakers. Bad English is the world language, so keeping it as simple as possible is the right thing to do. Also giving the viewers the first (or second) impression of a Whisky is something that stands out over other vloggers and other than giving him the opportunity to review more different whiskies adds very well into the existing blogosphere.

a button to select the entire video or only tasting would be very helpful
just for a quick look at the tasting without the information around it

We had a link with nosing and tasting. But after a while we crunched the YT analytics and found out that nobody clicked on tasting. So now there is only the nosing link in the description.

Highland park dark origins as a comparison to the 12 year old. I'm fairly excited for this whisky, most of the stuff they pump out is good and I'm curious how the extra sherry plays on highland parks style. I'm also confident Germany will see this before Canada.

Glen Breton Ice - A lesser known variant of Canada's first single malt, I found the inclusion of ice wine barrels in maturation intriguing. I would be curious as to how a more experienced whisky drinker reacts. Essentially more world whiskys that most of us overlook.

Translation of favorite whisky videos, I've watched these in German but I would love to see this of any other whisky video in this realm translated.

Highland Park is definitely on my agenda. The next one will be the 18yo. It is not that easy get my fingers on those special bottles. The Dark Origins is already announced and I should have a bottle in the upcoming weeks.
