Greetings Everyone, I am Suzanne, a new member currently living in Manchester with my husband Lee and we have only recently started to collect in earnest. Currently we have 21 types of single malt, mainly Scotch with a Penderyn and a Jameson thrown in for good measure! Off to Speyside in 6 weeks for our summer hols for a week of Distillery visiting and relaxation, have a plan hat means we should be able to visit 20 to 30 Distilleries, with the possibility of bringing home a fair few samples!I must sound like a right alcoholic, but actually we have perhaps a single measure a day, and then only 4 or 5 nights a week, so definitely no drinking problem as far as we are aware Anyway, good to be here, thanks for providing the forum, website and resources, it is much appreciated!RegardsSuzanne
Welcome to the forum, Suzanne - and have a great journey throughout the malt universe!
Thanks for the welcome SanctTom, it is appreciated! I think we can safely say the journey has been started, only the Gods know when it will end

Welcome to the forum
Many thanks Ben
Welcome, Suzanne. And never mind... 21 bottles might seem much, but it's ridiculous compared to what some freaks amass over time. (I had typed that all before but on that fateful day I only produced empty postings. So here's my belated welcome posting )
Many thanks Budgerigar_Canalis,The collection has now grown, off to Scotland for some distillery visits in 3 weeks - a week in Speyside - so we have been checking £ online against the Distilleries £, and where a decent saving can be had then they have been ordered, fortunately my husband just got a bonus, so it hasn't broken the bank, and with him working for a supermarket that does a decent selection, and having staff purchase... well, it would be rude not to indulge and save some more!
Oh yes, that would be so very rude indeed. I wish you maltloads of fun in Scotland.
Also from me, a little belated welcome!
