Hi, I'm new to Whisky and having spend a few quid finding what I like it seems I prefer the non smokey/peat whiskys.

Ive been enjoying Glenmoranie 10 and Glenvliet 12

please could anyone recommend anything they feel would suit my pallet?

I know it's a little more expensive than some but the Macallan Double Cask Gold isn't smokey.

I think the cheapest I've seen is here: https://bringmedrink.co.uk/product/macallan-gold-1824/

It's definitely not as sweet but just as rich as the Glenmoranie 10

@Sefton  would the Arran 10 be a similar profile?

@pm22988  THANK YOU, I bought a bottle of this...really nice (like drinking a nice fruit cake) possibly a little on the sweat side of things but nice never the less.

    I have been looking at

    Deanstone 12

    Bladnoch 10

    Aultmore12

    Linkwood

and possibly a Glenlivit 15 or 18 (maybe) - or the Glengoyne 18

You might also consider others in the Glenmorangie family. The Quinta Rabun is very smooth, finished in port cask, so it has a mellowness to it compared to the 10 in my opinion. Happy exploring. It’s about 20 bucks more in my area but I never regret picking it up.
