Havent tried bourbon in 10 years,so thought I'd get a couple of bottles that get very good reviews! If anyone has tried these two, would love your feedback.Cant seem to get Buffalo Trace 45% abv anywhere, only 40%???Looking forward to some sippin this evening!
@Ian_Crombie In the UK, anyway, they seem to only do 40% now
@Ian_Crombie Wild Turkey 101 is decent. Avoid the Wild Turkey 81 as it is too low ABV. Eagle rare I have never tried as it is not available in Sweden but it is one that I would like to try.
I tasted the Buffalo Trace 45% ABV one year ago and it was nice, a lot of vanilla though. I would avoid the 40%.
@bedlamborn Eagle Rare 10 was £36,rather pricy fof a bourbon, but very good.Would love to try Buffalo Trace 45%abv,but not available in UK.May try Makers Mark as next bourbon. If you are after an Islay single malt, but not your typical peat monster,I hugely advise Bunnahabhain 12,its rich full bodied and slightly nutty, just how I like my women!!!
@Ian_Crombie £36 pricey for 10-year-old small batch bourbon? It's seriously good for the price in my opinion!
@Ian_Crombie I have to agree with @James_Jackson . 36 pounds is a good price for the eagle rare 10.
For the Makers Mark I quite like that one s an easy drinking bourbon.
The website has great content and lots of information. I would love to read your web articles.
