I Hi,
Found Glenrothes 1998 for 55 EUR in my local shop. Is it worth buying?

Anyone?
And someone delete that previous stupid comment - counterfeit_trade
@uuggyy I like most of the Glenrothes. But you have to know, that Glenrothes has quite often an unusual taste which is best described with earthy.
Glenrothes and Balblair are my current favourite no bullshit drams. but I am fearful the Edrington marketeers would get to Glenrothes soon
@uuggyy
I have only tasted Glenrothes once and it was not to my personal liking, Not bad or anything jut not in my taste. But with that price it is a good buy if you like Glenrothes.
@hwchoy
I hope Edrington doesn't god crazy here also but you will never know.
@uuggyy I’m a fan of the Glenrothes BUT they’ve done away with the vintages in favor of age statements, so I’m not sure how this expression fits that new directive as it has no age statement. It’s an ok bottle but at this price I expected more. It costs more than the 12 and 10 year olds and I found it one dimensional

@ruoungoaithanhnien the vietnamese website you listed, can you actually order from them? I'm located in Sai Gon but it is kind of hazardous here to buy liquor from shops, too many fakes.
@uuggyy I think it is. Glenrothes vintages tend to be very special. I like the 98 and 2001 a lot
