Hello everyone, wasn’t sure where to post this but please see attached pic. Is this set worth anything? I can not find this anywhere on the internet. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
@thecruzin6
It is a nice package of the Johnnie walker 12 year old miniature set. But it is a blended whisky and nothing that collectors would like, as they prefer single malts.
@thecruzin6 It should be worth app. 100€/$ (which should be the normal price for 12 miniatures). But whoever buys this could easily buy three full bottles of JW12. So s/he needs a special reason to buy this.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think @bedlamborn and @horst_s are wrong. I wouldn't touch that beautiful set.
At first glance, it appears to be standard JW black, but it's actually a set of Johnnie Walker extra special, which is an older expression of Johnnie Walker black.
While it still might not be worth a crazy amount of money, it will also depend on which decade this specific expression is from. If it's from the 1990's, it might not be worth much, but as a set, it could get some extra money. If it's from the 80's or 70's, you could be looking at a pretty valuable item. I'm not sure, though...I'm not a collector.
Bottom line is that I would definitely leave it the way it is until you can get a proper appraisal.
I found the specific miniature you have on minibottlelibrary.com. Perhaps you could reach out to them for more information...?
