just had a very nice tasting of the Starward Solera (43% abv). this is a new Australian distillery with only two expressions, one the a/m Solera which uses 40-50 years old Australian sherry casks (much like Dalmore in this regards), and the other is matured in Australian red wine casks.

@hwchoy do they taste similar to Dalmore?

i would say that the starward Solera reminds me of the Dalmore King Alexander III, but perhaps a little less complexity.
