Alright boys and girls, keep your eyes peeled for a new glendronach expression: peated port cask! It's a NAS, but should still be interesting. Hopefully I'll be able to give it a try.
I'm pretty sure glendronach is under a lot of pressure to push out new scotch, and peating their malt is a quick way to add complexity, allowing them to push out younger whisky. I think this also explains why the only other NAS whisky they make is also peated.
At least it's 46% abv, non-chill filtered and natural color...

I wish it could have been an age statement. Like Edradour does and release age statements on all their bottlings.
Please remember, that Glendronach was sold and lately resold to Brown-Forman (Jack Daniel). They need some years to change their course.
