Totally overpriced!!!Should be about £80 maximim.....compared to other 18 yr olds....£405 on Amazon....total p*ss take!Becoming a collectots item has ruined this brand!!!!Market forces Rule...but they shouldn't!!!
@Highlander
Totally agree. But when I buy a Macallan bottle and knowing I'm paying more I get in the bottle I remember that the Distillery is owned by a non-profit organization and that extra money will be well used.
@DaFin Macallan is very good..just tooooo expensive!£400 for 18yr old is just absurd(ralfy.com agrees).Dalmore is well overpriced too....whereas Glenfarclas is good value for money....a 21 yr old for £70....thats good!
@Highlander
Well, you can find Macallan 18yo Fine Oak at 190€ at ebay. I agree it's too much if compared with Glenfarclas or Glendronach, for example. Both cheaper and same quality, under my opinion.
@DaFin Yeah Macallan Fine Oak is supposed to be good,but overpriced for 18 yr old!!!The Distillery is close to Elgin,Scotland where I grew up..my father has done a tour of it...he likes Macallan.Knew a few 'Fins' in London...they all drank a lot!
