Hello everyone....I come from Elgin in Moray,Scotland....though live in England now.Recently have been watching Horst s reviews on line, which are grrreat!Have bought Glenmorangie,Aberlour 12 and more recently The Balvenie DoubleWood 12...which i havent tasted yet...though Horst loves it!Only recently think I actually "got" the fascination with nice single malts. My dad was a Macallan drinker,a very good one!Was in Gordon&McPhail on holiday 3 weeks ago, there was a 1936 Mortlach for.............. £12,400!!!!!!No wonder i got my dad whisky fudge instead!Off to try this Balvenie now,so better sign off!

if you like the Balvenie DoubleWood 12 yo do consider The Glenrothes Vintage Reserve (both the standard bottling as well as the 12 yo 12 vintages version)
