Hi all. I have a question for you
Do you know of an exclusive water to add to whisky? I'm thinking bottled scottish spring water or something alike. Do you know of any brands etc?
Thanks a lot!

@Mathis
I prefer water with very low dry residue. Almost zero taste added to my whisky.
Here, in the mediterranean coast of Spain where water at home has shitty taste, I drink (and use to dilute) Bezoya or Font Vella brands or water coming from reverse osmosis.
@DaFin Thank you very much for the reply!

I haven't tried it, but I believe it is quite expensive.
@Mathis
TOMAR: What is it?
SCOTT: Well, it's, er. (peers at it, sniffs it) It's green.
@to_e_or_not_to_e Thanks ALOT, very useful answer.

I had a look into the mineral contents of several bottled still waters. My main choice was Highland Spring water from Blackford/Scotland close to the Tullibardine distillery.
From its content om minerals I searched the available waters. There are some books on the market listing the minerals of dozens of waters. Here is my article about the results.
@horst_s Thanks a lot for this Horst, I'll have a look at the article now.
