Hi,
I found Glenfarclas 175th anniversary in my local store for 120 euros. Is it worth buying it? looks like its quite rare now.
@uuggyy
I think I need to find an excuse to visit Latvia. I've actually visited Riga some years ago, visiting a company SAF Tehnika making microwave radios.
@hwchoy
you are more than welcome
so what do you think of Glenfarclas 175th anniversary? Should I get it for 120 eur?
@uuggyy
if this is the regular 175 Anniversary, I'd say why not at only 6,000 bottles. but if it is the 175 Anniv Chairman's Reserve, I'd say grab everyone you can see
@hwchoy
Yee thats the regular one but 120 euro looks like a good price. I wish it was a chairman's reserve :smiley: :smiley:
@uuggyy
GRAB!!!
@hwchoy
What do you think of Teeling The revival 15Y ? it is on sale now for 79 EUR. last 3 bottles here in Latvia
@uuggyy
sorry not into anything outside scotch right now. no idea ;-)
@uuggyy
I think the price is a little too high for the quality. A Glenfarclas vintage for 80 EUR will be at least that good.
I'd go for it. Might increase in price steadily from now onwards.

Are you mixing up Glenfarclas and GlenDronach? I don't know a 'Revival' with a 15-years age statement from GF. Excellent dram though, and as most good stuff being discontinued...
