show us some whisky marketing ingenuity you have come across... I'll start with The Macallan
they says the Edition Two is ONLY 372 casks... assuming 300-400 bottles from a cask, that gives ONLY 100.000-150,000 bottles... ONLY.
@hwchoy
There are many funny marketing ingenuity and that Macallan is quite bad
For example on Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist it is written. Where the peatiness is tamed by the sweet alchemy of the Ardbeg distillation process.
And that is from the first bottle I choose. I think there is many funny things written on the bottles.
@bedlamborn
Macallan was actually good enough to write me back and says they actually got 229,000 bottles :dizzy:
@hwchoy
So many choices, but I think the Golden Decanters collection comes out on top. Four bottles from a new independent bottler at 7,250 GBP for the set.

only 180 sets, surely its not that difficult to find 180 well heeled "connoisseur"?
@Carlton
A fool is born every minute. There are some rich people in the world who wants that to show off
@hwchoy
Did you buy several of these bottles. Must become a rarity in the future.
@bedlamborn
for that money I would rather buy a case of Dalmore Quintessence
