To drink or not to drink?

I'll shortly be aquiring a bottle of the 2009 bottling Ardbeg Supernova. I understand that no one can see into the future and nothing is guarenteed but I wanted an opinion on whether or not this would be a good investment in a few years or should i just enjoy it now?

A few weeks ago, I would have said, that this bottle is perfect for a collection. But then the new Supernova appeared as a committee bottling. This might have reduced the price, because connoisseurs now found new bottles and did not have to look for expensive old ones. But spreading the hefty taste of the Supernova no more connoisseurs now, will increase the demand in the future.

If Ardbeg releases a hefty smoky regular Supernova, than the bottle looses a lot of value. If not, it may climb further in price.

I think it is a good idea to keep the bottle for a few years and decide then.

Thanks Horst. I'll hold onto it for now.
