    Hello everyone,

i'm new on the forum and i need your help!

early october i'm going to "The Whisky Shop" store to buy a few bottle,

i'm looking for whisky starting at 90£,i can't drink cheap whisky(like aberlour for instance)the first single malt whisky that i've ever tasted 4 years ago and gave me a very very bad experience, didn't want to go any further after this, until 2 years ago when i first came across the Hibiki 17 and from this moment i became a whisky drinker.

now that i had Japanese whiskies i want Scotch whikies so i started with The Dalmore King Alexander III
and i was stunned, this is some very very good Whisky!!a lot better than Japanese's ones.

the problem is,i have to much bottle on my mind so i need a little help to narrow down my choices.

so here is the bottles that i have in mind:

    Highland Park 25

    The Macallan rare Cask

    Glenmorangie Signet

    Glenmorangie 25

    Bowmore 18

    Bowmore 25

    Glenfiddich 21 gran reserva(i didn't like the 12 tho)

    Talisker 25

    Talisker 30

i have a budget of 432£ or 500euro(i live in france)so which one of them do you recommend me?

btw i'm curious about something,i didn't like the aberlour 12/15 and the Glenfiddich 12,and they are both Speyside!so maybe i don't like Speyside?or maybe because it's cheap whiskies.

Thank you in advance to whoever that will help me and give me some advice.

    Take Care

All those whiskies are really excellent. Very good choice.

I would dismiss the whiskies without an age statement. I find them a little overpriced.

The Highland Park is one of my very favorite. The Bowmore 25 had been better in former times, when there were more fist fill casks available. Bowmore is also colouring its malts. I would be careful with them.

I dislike rhum. So I can not say something about the Glenfiddich.

    Talisker is colouring as well.

    Hello,

thank you very much Horst for your advice.

could you tell me what you think about Glenmorangie?

i saw your video of the Signet so this one i'm relly interested in.

but i'd like your opinion on the Glenmorangie 25,if you have tasted it yet of course?

Thanks in advance for any help.
