    I am still new to the smoky ones but i do Like the Laphroiag 10.  Found out that i dash of water does incredible thing to the nose and taste.

    Depends if you look for just smoky taste, taste of wood coal, bbqed bacon or if you look for something that has smoky tastes but has a lot more to offer like see tastes, seafood notes etc. 

    By far my fav is Ardbeg Corryvreckan but for just dust and smoke you can even reach for Ardbeg Wee Beastie :smile:

    I really like Ledaig 10y and the Rioja version ... they come from Mull but still nice and smoky. 

    Also the Johnnie Walker Islay Blended Malt 12y is quite smoky and has loads of bonfire wood taste in it. So this could be a cheeper altenative for just heavy smoky stuff. 

    Of course Lagavulin 16 is both smoky and rich.
