I've seen Laphroaig 32 Special Edition (for their 200th anniversary in 2015) going from anywhere between 1300 - 2000 USD at various locations. Was able to get my hands on a 750ml bottle, #1408 of 5880, the other day for 950 USD. A comparative steal! It was distilled 1983, same year as my bride and I were married. So, will likely hold until our 40th anniversary in 2023 and savor then with friends and family!
