Recent Trip To Speyside

Spent several days in Speyside at end of September. What a glorious place to visit! My two priority distillery visits were to Glenfarclas and Aberlour. At Glenfarclas I was able to sample the 1994 Chancellor's Cask sold only there at the distillery. Only 275 bottles were made. Tasting sample was exquisite! One of those came home with me!!  http://www.whiskyintelligence.com/2019/08/glenfarclas-the-chancellors-cask-scotch-whisky-news/  At Aberlour the special take home, available only at the distillery, was a 14 y/o Single Cask Edition at 56.5ABV.  Sampled that as well, and it tastes just like a Christmas Cake! Delicious!! That one gets opened on Christmas Day. Have to think of an occasion to open the Glenfarclas.
