Kings ransom 12 yr. Info?

Recently acquired an unopened bottle with an old tax paid tag over the top still sealed. Looking for general info on the bottle? So far all I know is it was blended for import to the USA and the kings ransom brand was discontinued in the 80s.

Anything else would be greatly appreciated. (Bottles age? Value? Tasting notes?)

I'm inclined to let it keep sitting just because but not sure.
