Tried this again as it is very good.Voted best 12 yr old by 'Whisky in the 6' website.Creamy mouthfeel and very full flavoured for a 12 yr old.Glengoyne is such a good distillery.Must visit it next year..its near Glasgow!

When I tasted 12 years old for the first time I thought it needed time to open up. After three weeks it tasted better. I felt the same with the 18 year old. Some air made it better. have you experienced it yourself?
@bedlamborn Glengoyne 18 seemed a bit flat and hasnt opened up as yet..Glengoyne 12 and 15 were instantly tasty, needed to time to open up.Glengoyne 21 is currently £95 on Amazon..tempting,as its a wonderful whisky!
