Hi. I'm new to whisky drinking. As a gift I have been given a Glenmorangie Cellar 13 ten year old whisky. Can anyone tell me if this is a good whisky?

Thx for joining the Forum.
This bottle is a quite good one. It is comparable to the Glenmorangie Original with 10yrs of age. But it was selected out of the best casks from the best located warehouse in terms of taste they have.
The bottle was originally from the travel value but was sold as well in domestic markets. It was sold 10 to 15 years ago. It might have some value already.
@Daimoule@gmail.com You might want to hold onto that one and not open it! Its already got some value and it will undoubtedly go up over the years. Heres a link to a whisky auction https://www.reallygoodwhisky.com/glenmorangie-cellar-13---10-year-old-whisky-2029-p.asp
