Has anyone ever been to The Whisky Extravaganza?

Hi Everyone,

I'm just curious about this annual whisky tasting event called The Whisky Extravaganza. It seems like a great event to try a wide variety of single malts and get some whisky knowledge from some seasoned experts. I'd like to go but I wanted to see if anyone here has been to this event before and had some opinions about it.

They will be in Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, and Ft. Lauderdale. The tickets are a little pricey but I expected that from an event like this.
